Statement of Faith

We believe there is one God who exists in three persons: the Father; the Son; and the Holy Spirit.

We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe in the indwelling power, comfort, and help of the Holy Spirit for those who have believed in Jesus.

We believe the Bible is God's inspired word, and that it is the authority by which mankind is to live.

We believe that all Christians are gifted and called to serve mankind and to bear fruit for the kingdom of God.

We believe that Jesus will soon return to claim His people and to establish His kingdom.

 Daily Thought

Exodus 34:6-7 proclaim a truth that is echoed throughout the Bible: God is gracious, kind, merciful, and slow to anger!  I am so thankful that God is patient with me, and that He is willing to forgive me and show me mercy.  His grace sometimes overwhelms and amazes me.  It is one of the many reasons I have chosen to seek and serve Him.

God has every right to judge me and hold me accountable.  I know I am a sinner who has fallen incredible short of His glory and truth.  I realize that I have done nothing to earn His love or mercy; instead, I have done so much to earn only his wrath and condemnation.

I praise God for Jesus.  I bow to God in awe as I think of His love and grace.  For without Jesus I would be lost and dying in my own sin and hopelessness.  I am grateful that God is gracious, kind, merciful, and slow to anger!

There is hope in Christ

We all face times of failure and shame.  None of us is beyond sin so we all need the grace of God.  Jesus Christ died to take away our sins.  He, who knew no sin, became sin for us.  (2 Corinthians 5:21) It is only because of this amazing truth that any of us can be forgiven.  It is this very same grace which helps us to change as we try to live as Christians.  We are saved by grace and we stand in grace.  (Romans 5:1-2)  And because of Jesus we can approach the throne of grace to ask for the help that we need.  (Hebrews 4:14-16)   Plus, He has offered to help us overcome temptation.  (1 Corinthians 10:13)  God loves us, even when we fail.  He offers us forgiveness, salvation, and the power to overcome sin.  Lean on His grace.
